Preschool - 2 years later

I said I'd post a picture of Kylie's first day of Mother's Day out when she was 18 months old, but then I realized that all my pictures are in boxes in Oklahoma!! So my sister emailed me this one!! Here is Kylie at 18 months and now, 2 years later, at 3 1/2!!

Massive swing

My parents put up a swing off a tree branch in their backyard for all the grandkids! They love it! Even Curt!! Since it's so tall, it swings out far, but not too high for Curt. Kylie loves to swing and be spun at the same time!

Bobbing for ice!!

My dad, Papa, read Kylie a story about Curious George bobbing for apple. Kylie didn't know what that was, so my dad let her bob for ice!!

At this point, she gave up and just wanted to blow bubbles!! Good try Kylie!!

Past pictures

I'm going to post some pics of the past few weeks....With Aimee's new baby, Beth being in the hospital, and us all being sick, not a lot got posted!!!

Hi!! I can sit up with my boppy!!!
Beth holding baby Alexis in the hospital.
Chuck bought Kylie a sprinkler and she loved it!!
I love this picture of Kylie. Summer fun!
Chuck's Aunt Sue was here for 2 weeks to help out after Beth came home from the hospital the first time. She was a HUGE help and we miss her!! There was about a day and a half when Curt wouldn't nurse due to his bronchitis but he would take a pumped bottle, so Sue would feed him some....

Curt Timeline

I love to look back and see how my kiddos have grown!! I did this for Kylie and am now doing this for Curt. We take a picture on his 'month' birthday on the same blanket with the same bear for size comparison. I thought you'd like to see them!! I can only do 5 pics on one post, so the newborn picture is omitted.

Updates on everyone again!

Let's do an update on Beth first. She had to have another surgery on Friday night to repair an absess in her small bowel. It was grapefruit size and was no where near the origonal surgery site. She ran a fever for a few days but they think that is under control now. She'll be in the hospital for another week to week and a half more. Hopefully she'll come home soon!! We miss her!!

Updates on us!! We are finally all better. That's why we haven't updated this recently.....I had sick kids and then we went to stay at my mom's and they have DSL finally but they don't have wireless connection and I'm sure I could have hooked up my laptop somehow, but with Chuck out of town, I really didn't want to fool with it. We needed to keep Kylie quieter since she had pneumonia (that was tough!!) so she played lots of computer games and did puzzles!!

Kylie and Daddy watching TV while sick. Well, Kylie watching TV....I guess Little Bear wasn't exciting enough for Daddy!! Haha

When it rains, it pours...

Well, we have Goodson Hospital over here! Curt had a cough and didn't eat for 12 hours and was running a fever on Thursday, so Friday AM I took him to the Dr. While I was there I asked her to look at Kylie because she's just had a cough but nothing else. Turns out Kylie has walking pneumonia and Curt has bronchitis!! Poor babies!!! So since Kylie's been in our room for the week due to Chuck's Aunt Sue being in her room, Chuck and I decided to get checked out too. We called a Dr. friend of ours that got us in to see him even though he was already double booked (nice to know people!!) and turns out Chuck has bronchitis too and I have the beginning stages of it!

So we are all on antibiotics and cough meds.....Thank goodness for insurance, but it was still expensive. So when Beth gets back from the hospital, we will be going to stay wih my parents until at least Friday. Beth does not need to be around us. I have to take Kylie back to Dr. on Friday to get her rechecked.

Say a prayer for us!

Updates on everyone!!

Well, things aren't so great here...Beth is back in the hospital. She had been feeling bad but just thought it was from the surgery. She went on Wednesday for a checkup with her Dr. and they put her back in the hospital because she was severely dehydrated, has a blockage in her colon and has an infection. The are hoping and praying the blockage is just swelling, and have stopped her eating to try and wait and see if the swelling goes down and things can pass. Otherwise they may have to go back in and take a look. They are defiantly keeping her over the weekend. She is not doing good.

Aimee and the baby are doing as well as they can! The baby is having a hard time nursing, so they are trying to figure that out. They've been to the lactation consultant many times in the past 5 days, and I am so proud of them for that! So many people run into a problem and just throw in the towel. I commend them for seeking out help to make this work. Plus little Alexis has her poor days and nights confused! I think all babies do this to some extent, it's just a little frustrating to not sleep at least in 3 hour increments!

We are all sick here...Chuck and I are just kinda sick, Kylie acts fine, but is running a low grade fever and has a terrible cough for the last few days, but Curt is so sleepy, goes 12 hours between nursings, has a low fever and a terrible cough. So I am taking them both to the Dr. in the morning at 9:00am.....I don't really worry about Kylie because she is acting fine and can tell me what is wrong, but Curt is so little and can't tell me anything and things can go south fast with a little one...

I say little one, I should say young one, he's not so little!!! Today at Kylie's gymnastics, there was a 6 1/2 month old girl watching with us and Curt was as big if not bigger than she was and he's only 5 months!

Well, I think we are going to have a long day tomorrow and probably a long night so I'm going to go get some rest.
