New House!!!

Sorry I've not been posting....we closed on the house last Friday and I've been furiously working...working...working!!! I've been over there until about 11:30 every night. So far, we've taking down a few layers of wallpaper in both kids rooms (just the borders) and all the wallpaper in the kitchen. We've textered the kitchen, kilzed the kitchen and all the cabinets (twice) and painted 3 closets!! So all that is left for painting is the kitchen with 2 coats of red and Curt and Kylie's room. Hopefully we'll be done painting by next Tuesday. Then we can unpack some stuff and move in next weekend!! I've got a ton of pics I'll post later, I'm not sure where my camera is....it's been going back and forth between both houses....

Chuck is going to work on the fence around the pool this weekend and I'm going to Dallas for my sister's birthday and to watch her bungee jump....

Time for more random pics!

Here are some more random pictures that don't really belong in any other post! Oh, 2 days and counting until we close on the house!! Yea!!

Curt loves to bounce on Kylie's bed!!

Curt loves his bath!! He can hear water from all the way across the house and will come crawling fast to find out if it's his bath time!

Eating chicken and dumplings for the first time. Cut up tiny of course.
Every once in a blue moon Kylie will ask one of us to rock her and it's usually when she's really tired. This day she just climbed up in Chuck's lap and fell asleep!

Princess Tea Party

Kylie's class had a Valentine's/Princess Tea Party last week. Her all girl class was perfect for that!! Even her teacher Mrs. Karen dressed up!

Here's Princess Kylie!

They got to go to a special banquet room with real tablecloths and little tea sandwiches and poured their own 'tea'. Notice her little pinky sticking out. She informed all the other girls that's how real princesses drink tea!!!

I had so much fun going to her party!!

Her class doing 'I'm a little teapot' song.

Happy Birthday, Kylie!!

The night after her pump it up party we had her family party. We had time limits at pump it up for presents so we opened up family ones later. Kari, Eric, MaKenzie and Zane got to come down to visit!

No, she didn't get a crock pot!! It was stuffed full of dress up clothes, shoes, and princess things!! It's been a favorite of hers and her friends!

Can you believe she's 4?? Goodness...they grow too fast!!!

She opened her presents from Mommy and Daddy on her actually birthday. She got a few little things and an art easel. She yelled, "This is what I've always wanted!" when she opened her present!

Helping daddy put it together.

Pump it up party!

Her friend party was at Pump it Up!!! It was so great to not really have to set up anything....They took care of everything!

One of the tables! We inviting her preschool class and some friends from church. I think there were 18 kids and then siblings and parents!

Kylie in the white trying to get up the flag wall.

None of the kids could get up the wall, but the had fun trying! The adults had a blast too! Sitting next to Chuck is Rachel and next to her in McKenzie!

Curt in the car!! Beep beep!!

Her cakes!

Most of the people! It's hard to get everyone in the picture! Her party was so much fun!! It was even more special that we had friends from OK down!!

Children's Museum

We found a really great Children's museum in the next town over.....We all had a great time!!

Kylie loved the babies in the hospital nursery.

Chuck and Kylie making really big bubbles in the weather room.
This was a wall where you put in tracks and then dropped a ball at the top and watch it roll down. Kylie and engineer daddy had a great time figuring out how to make different balls do different things. They could have spent all day here!

They had a TV station where you could be on TV doing the news or a cooking show. Kylie was Rachel Ray making pizza. She really didn't care she was on TV, she just was Rachel Ray, and that included talking the whole time telling us what she was doing!

"And now we'll put the pizza in the oven and wait for it to get done!"

Woohoo woohoo!! Here we come! "Don't worry, we're coming to help you. Stay where you are!" Kylie said.

Shopping at the grocery store.

They had so much to see and do here! We spend about 2 hours in the museum and didn't even see all of it! They even had a really big realistic cave that Kylie loved! There was a part of the cave that you pushed a button and the floor started shaking like it was an earthquake. Chuck didn't warn her and it freaked her out the first time! We will definatly go back soon!

Mmm...mmmm....good

Curt certainly is liking his food!!! His current favorite is spaghetti!!

Kylie had PJ day at school....They took their bears to hibernate in a cave!!!
