Fall party

We went to a fall party with our SS class this past weekend. It was a blast! Here's what happened with Curt in the pumpkin patch. I wanted to get a picture of him with a pumpkin and this is what it turned into!





Buzz Lightyear and Superman thought Curt needed every pumpkin in the patch! So they kept bringing him all the pumpkins!

Uncle Aaron loves to carve pumpkins so he came over to carve with Kylie. He found Cinderella and a jolly pumpkin!! Kylie loved it!

Kylie wanted to make pumpkin cookies so she and Beth rolled them out and baked them and Kylie and I iced them!! She did such a great job! She is really turning into quite the baker!

Here are just some random pics over the last few weeks since I've been neglecting my blog!

When Curt was so sick and we had to move out of the inlaws house, he got to take a bath in the sink!! He loved it but it was hard to bathe him!!



We had good friends come visit that we hadn't seen in years!! It was so nice to see them and to catch up. We finally live within 4 hours of each other again!


A few weeks ago we returned to Oklahoma for a wedding. I think it was the most beautiful wedding I had ever attended!! I wish I could have gotten more pics but we were busy with friends and trying to keep kids entertained!

Karalyn is 2!!

My little niece is 2!! She's getting so big!! Her birthday party was last weekend, and since Chuck was out of town, and I was home with a sick baby (actually at Dr. with baby) my parents drove Kylie the 2 hours to Karalyn's party!! They had a blast! Karen had 2 Minnie Mouse costumes, so the girls got to be Minnie Mouses while they had her Mickey and Minnie party! It made me sick that I had to miss, but I was glad Kylie got to go! Here are a few pictures of the party, and one of just Karalyn. (These are just the ones my parents have, all my other pics for other posts are on the laptop, and I'll post those late this week.)

Out of house...again

I've got so much catching up to do as far as pics on here go!!! I'll get to it, I promise!!

Curt has been sick again...He started running a low fever Wednesday night (of course when Chuck leaves town!!) but I had an appointment Thursday morning for his well baby visit. So we go in to the Dr. and he's running 102* fever. So they say it's viral , a sore throat, and give him antibiotics and send him home. Thursday night his fever gets to 104.4*, Friday morning it's 105.1*, and I'm getting worried. So all day Friday it hovers around 103*, 104* and the phone nurse says that if it gets over 104* during the night to take him to ER, otherwise take him to the Sat. clinic at the Dr. So Sat. morning it's 104.5* still but I decide to take him to the clinic at his Dr. The nurse practitioner looks him over, sends him for blood work and urine, and then she wants the Dr. to look at him which he did. All in all, they decided not to put him in the hospital (even though they said they would if it would have made me feel better) and just to give him a shot of antibiotics. Sunday he ran low grade fever all day, and Monday he's fine!! But I think he's in the habit of getting up at night because he did when he had fever and felt bad, because the last 2 nights he's been up 3 and 4 times a night crying. So we'll have to retrain him to sleep again!! Poor baby!!!

And Chuck missed all of it....lucky him! But he had fun at the races!!!

Psst...Hey, Jesus...

Kylie's prayers are getting more and more in depth.....It's so great to see how she is already learning how to pray. Her prayers started out just going through her list of friends and family and thanking God for them. She is starting to pray for specific situations at school and for people we know that are sick or hurt.

Tonight when she said her prayers, she thanked God for all her friends and family and then she prayed for Chuck (he left today to go to Talledega, AL to the NASCAR race with some college friends). This is how her prayer went. "And Jesus, please be with my Daddy while he's at the races with friends, help him to have fun. And please bring him back home safe. (whispering) Psst.....Hey, Jesus? Jesus?? Are you listening?? Please bring my Daddy home. Amen.

I was trying very hard not to laugh, but it was funny and so sweet....psst....hey Jesus....

GG is coming home!!!

After 5 out of 7 weeks in the hospital and 2 surgeries, Beth is finally coming home!!! We've all missed her greatly!!! More about this past week a little later!!
