Updates on GG, Aimee, and the swing set

You can defiantly tell that Aunt Aimee and Kylie are related!! Kylie was hugging George, the name of the baby while it's inside. He/She is in no hurry to come out! Aimee is 6 days past due and they are going to let her go 6 more days until they officially induce....she is a whopping 1 cm, and her dr. says that is being generous! We are going to get pedicures tomorrow in hopes that some pressure point on her foot will start something going!
Beth is doing well.....she felt good enough to go sit outside for a while and watch the swing set building. She is slow moving and has to be pretty careful, but she is doing much better than anyone thought....

Kylie couldn't wait to try out the slide! It's the only thing attached at the moment....They are hoping to be done in a few days!

Kylie starts preschool!!!

Kylie started school this morning!! She was so excited! She already knew a little girl in there named Mallory and knew her teacher from church, so there were a few familar faces! I think she had her backpack on ready to go a full 20 minutes before we had to leave!

I had to take one more pic before I left her! She was doing great! She just walked right in! I left knowing she would be fine. I remember when she started Wee school at our old church when she was 18 months. She looked so tiny!! I hovered around the school for about 30 minutes to make sure she was okay, but it was me that wasn't okay! I think they finally had to tell me to go home! If I can figure out how to work Mike and Beth's scanner, I'll put a pic on here of her first day at school 2 years ago!

Curt and I are off to go get her now!! She'll go Tues. Wed. Thurs. from 8:30 to 12:00.

Swing Set!

Kylie misses her old swing set so bad! So, with Kylie, Curt and another grandchild on the way, (due any day) Chuck's parents decided to put one in the backyard. So, Chuck drew up plans (they look great!!) and he and his dad are building it from scratch!

Chuck's sister is due any day now!! Today is actually her due date, and there is not a thing going on!! They do have an induction date for Sept. 4, but everyone is hoping she does something before then! We want to find out if it is a girl or a boy! They have taken to answering their phone, "No baby yet, call back later."!!
Kylie sporting her new Dora school backpack! Her teacher came to the house to meet her this week, Mrs. Karen, and so I gave her her new backpack! She'll go to school from 8:30 to 12:00 on Tues., Wed., and Thurs. She is so excited! They have 2 teachers, Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Hope and 10 little girls! All girls! Good luck teachers!
Curt certainly does enjoy his food! This is prunes. He can eat, eat, eat! He is going to start being a big boy!! He is now 4 1/2 months old, and very close to outgrowing his 6-9 month clothes due to length and big thighs!
Kylie's good friend, Colter, has a blog that his mommy keeps up with. He had a picture of eating a smily face pancake, so Kylie wanted one for breakfast that day, just like Colter. Then after I made it, she had to have a picture with it like Colter!! We really miss seeing Colter all the time. Kylie and Colter were so much like brother and sister! They loved each other so much, but could also drive each other crazy!

Pump It Up!!

Our new favorite place is Pump it Up!! It's great! It's a big arena with an obstacle course, a really big slide, and 2 huge jumpers. It's carpeted, bright, clean, has video monitors so you can see all parts of the room, and has music! It's fun for parents too! We can get on with the kids and I have to almost stop myself trying to talk Kylie into going on what I want to go on!!! I have to remind myself that this is for her, not me!! GG got to go with us on Wed. (oh, they have special preschool timeslots so they don't get run over by big kids) before her surgery because it is the last time she'll get to play for a while. We had a blast!

Bathtub Fun

We love bathtime!!! Kylie has learned how to write most of her letters by using her bathtub crayons! Those are the best inventions. Chuck is so patient with her as her teaches her! She asked me how to spell mom and dad and then just wrote them!! And I do think that this was the first time she wrote her name without any help at all! I'm so proud of her!

Happy Curt!! We were going back to visit our old town and house and try to finish packing!! With 2 kids to watch and Chuck doing the yard work, I didn't get much done, but we visited with a lot of friends and that was worth it!!
Curt has started eating!!! It's just cereal and prunes right now, but he is gobbling it up!! If you pause at all, you hear the protest!! As soon as you pick up the spoon, he opens his mouth like a little bird! He was so ready for food! And no, it has not helped him sleep through the night. =(

I'm trying to get this page going. I have several friends that have a blog on this website, and I really like being able to write about my pictures I post. On myspace, it feels like I just post pictures and don't get to tell about them!! so I'm going to try a few posts and see if I can figure it out...
